EAM talks BIMSTEC ahead of summit; Dhaka wants SAARC and joint efforts to address challenges

External affairs minister S Jaishankar met Bangladesh foreign adviser Touhid Hossain to discuss bilateral issues and cooperation under BIMSTEC. Hossain requested the renewal of the Ganges Water Treaty and a SAARC Standing Committee meeting, aiming to address challenges in the relationship. Both countries emphasized joint efforts to resolve ongoing issues.
