Jammu & Kashmir high court has quashed the preventive detention of Mashooq Ahmad Shah under the Public Safety Act. The court found the allegations against him to be vague and lacking necessary details. Justice Rajnesh Oswal ruled that his detention violated constitutional guarantees under Article 22(5).
